During exploration, formation water breaks in along high permeability zone, which leads to oil zone being immersed by water, often causing rapid water coningt, production reduction, ineffectiveness of water injection and even the abandonment of the production well. PETX Group has established a complete set of scientific theory and flow-dynamic model by using Stellar Stepped Screen with variable holes density and Equalres Screen for oil production and water control. Through reasonable adjustment of screen inflow area, additional pressure drawdown is generated and reservoir physical property is balanced, which can contribute to the oil/gas equalized flow and restriction of the up-going of oil/water interface, decrease of the watercut and extend the production life of the well.
